Are you minding your own business?

This is an equation I read from Robert Kiyosaki’s Rich Dad Poor Dad book series. It says in order for us to get the “Reward” we looking for, we need to study the “Risk” so that the “Risk” is under our control, and get pass the “Risk”.

I feel so enlightening when I read a history that most of our ancestor are Independent Business Owner, and they all take care of their own business (mostly as a farmer) and control their own finance. However, when Industrialization came, most of them started to take care someone else Business, to exchange for a so called “stable income.” And then, slowly most of them plugged into the “capitalism Matrix”, and live happily ever after without having to take risk and depends on the “Matrix System”.

And now, most huge industrial age is slowly breaking down as Information Ages come. With Globalization kick in and competition increase, retrenchment has been everywhere. Have we train to take Risk and Gain Control of our own finance? Could any of us be the one who got retrench? Perhaps it’s time to start learning to mind our own business instead.
