Another Inspired Story on Mind Power

I read an article on “The Pilot Who Played Gold in His Jail Cell”—an amazing story about the power of mind visualization. There was an American pilot who had been shot down and imprisoned for many years in North Korea during the Korean war of the 1950s.

This man was a keen golfer and, during the long hours of imprisonment, the only thing that kept him sane was visualizing himself playing golf… and winning of course. He had all the time to ‘play’ 18 holes over and over again. Well, when he was finally released and returned home to America, one of the first things he did was to enter a golf tournament.

Guess what? He won easily, to the absolute amazement of everyone except himself. They thought his win had to be a fluke? Surely he was a rusty player… but no, he told everyone that he knew he would win because he had been mentally playing, practicing the winning shots, all those long years behind bars.—End

Along these years, I have learnt that whatever I see or I listen will be the information feed into my subconscious mind, no matter the information is good or bad. Sometimes it just frustrated to me that, even I’ve try my best to choose the good information to feed my mind, however, some bad information that involve “Blaming”, “Excuses”, “Justifying” still surround me especially from my family members and close friends. As a result, sometimes I’ll just let go, and eventually become a blamer, excuser, and justifier… (Am I giving excuses now?)Ha-ha… Help!!!
