Overstressed or Overworked?

Today, I don’t have anything special to share. However, flipping through my file collections on Life Charging, I found one story quite interesting to share. Perhaps, most of us had read it before but we just don’t remember it sometimes.

It’s about a story on a teacher asking the class about the weight of a glass of water. One student was asked to volunteer to hold the glass, and feel the weight. When the glass was first lifted in the air, the glass of water seems very light. Continued holding it, the glass was getting heavier after a minute. After five minutes, the student started to feel tired and unable to hold the water anymore.

Therefore, it is not how heavy the glass of water is. It is how long we have held it without putting down. So take quick break, take some deep breathe, and stretched our body before we continue to work.

Never bring the works home. We need good rest. It will be a good start tomorrow when we get backed to work FRESH. The stressful job yesterday will become easier when we can let go after work. It is easier to “say” than “do”, however, please learn and it will good for us. ;)
