Are We Connected...?
Today, when watching a hong kong series "阿旺新传" (Life made Simple), strangely there is a question pop up in my mind. Silently in my mind, I asked "Why is it when the actors and actress acting a sad scene, they will make us sad too?". Or, perhaps to ask differently, why is it when a sad scene or sad story presented to us, we will feel sad? even when the persons involve is stranger to us. Are they really "strangers" or we are really connected in some way or spiritual way...
Perhaps some will say the actors or actresses have very good acting skill. Perhaps, some will answer me this is the natural way human react, that's no big deal about it. But why? Why is that this is the natural way? Is there any purpose for this natural behavior programme in us? Are we really connected in some way that when i see or when i listen you, I can sense what you feel? Wow, that sounds really powerful to me. We are naturally bornt to share other people feeling. Or, we are bornt to put ourselves into other people shoes. Is this a new discovery or something like Newton discovered the power of gravitity?
Looking back to our society or community, why are there so many robberies around? Why are there so many people cheat or take advantage of other people to earn money? Are they no longer feel what others feeling? or they have chosen to ignore the feeling? What will happen when a person ignore the ability to feel? Could be something like ignoring the gravity?
If one is to ignore the gravity and jump for a 15 floor building and die immediately. But what could happen to a person that ignore the ability to feel what others feel, and insist of hurting someone to get what they 'think' they needed.... Perhaps, the feeling is not so far away from death...where everything become so silence, and so lonely that one will be disconnected. No one will be able to feel what you feel, and you will be unable to feel what others feel too... until that moment, even when you scream, no one will be able to listen... when you need help, no one can feel and come to help you...
Luckily, we are still connected... since i can still feel the feeling of people around me when i see them and talk to them. Fortunately, we can choose to have the feeling or ignore the feeling. And, I think no one will like to choose to ignore the feeling if they know the choice will lead to worse than death experience......
Value the people around us, and Value our feeling as that's what make us connected.
Fulfilling My Destiny
I've have been busy drafting out the topic for my forum dedicated to our High School. The journey has been joyful having the potential of contribution to the community. While searching through some key words in the forum through Google Images, there are some surprises on beautiful works build by others. Especially for Chinese Sites from China, they have a lot of wonderful information on Education for the future, for us entering the information age.
Deciding what topic to be presented has been a concerned for me and my partner since we have to choose between education and general student interest to attract students. At the same time, we have to attracted teachers interest so that we have the same goal and help to recommend the forum to benefit all students nationally.
In the end, I have followed my heart and decided to let go general student interest, and go for the kind of extreme self discovery education journey, having a strong feeling that student got to learn that in school, so that they are more prepared for the outside world. My partner has some disagreement on that, then I have 'begged' her for the chance to fulfill my destiny, and ask for forgiveness for insisting to have it the way my heart feel. I don't know how would be the end result, but it seems doesn't really matter since I feel so satisfied expressing myself through the work of the forum. Whatever problems occur along the way, I feel so energized to have it settled.

Time Teller vs. Clock Builder
Today I got a great concept from a book called "Built to Last"... I feel like writing a short blog on it. It says time teller might be very knowledgable at telling time by looking at the stars above the sky. However, the Clock builder will create a long lasting contribution to us to know the time.
What a cool inspiring example.... ;)
Something Change, and something do not ....
Wow, I have been really taking a long break. I'm still working on my Dream Plan, and finally decided to start with internet forum format, and start with independant high school. I have research on the forum platform and study the malaysia forum development, to my surprse, there are really a lot of chinese forum online but not english and malay one (maybe i din't search for malay).
Currently, I'm still working on the Vision and Mission of the forum so that the spirit and inspiration of the forum can last. Yesterday, I got a chance to read through a chapter on Vision in a book called "Built to Last" by Jim Collin. The concept and idea presented really inspired me a lot. It makes me clear that what is Vision and how it affects the development of a organization, corporation, or country. Vision is to guide and inspire us to move forward.
In the transition period into Information Age we are at, the world is changing at the fastest pace as Information flow is rich. However, something always change, but something must not. That's the core value, core purpose of a organization. Externally, everything can change at the highest speed. However, internally, we the core value we hold must not change. There must be something we stand up for no matter what. Perhaps our dignity, or spirit, or core value, no matter what happen, we must not change that. It provide us guidance and inspiration to move forward so that we will not lost.
I'm really inspired by a speech presented by US former vice president AlGore, to the students of stamdford, where he said, "Wrong is still wrong no matter how many persons are doing it; Right is still right, even if no one is doing it." This perhaps can remind us to be true to ourselves. Truth is truth no matter how many of us is ignoring it, no matter how deep we have hidden it deep inside ourselves.
Below is the Vision, Mission, and Key concept that I wanted to shared. At the same time, I'm also looking for feedback on good and bad of them. ;)
