In Instant Age...

Nowadays we always looking for instant solutions to help us to save time in our busy schedule. We might lost our patience in this instant age. We have instant noodles for food, we have Panadol for instant headache release, we have mobile phone for instant contacts, we send our children to tuition to get instant learning ability and instant result improvement. Everything just gotta to be fast, and as fast as possible...

However, something is mean to be fast and something is not... Recently, I watch a video version of a seminar present by Dr. Bruce Lipton. a Research Scientist on cell biology. He shared an interesting real life stories on our Medical Industry. He likes to use mechanic theory to demonstrate the biological theory. One story that he shared is, one day a guy named, David sent his car to the mechanics for checkup because the "Engine LED" is on. Perhaps there is problems with his engine operation since the light is turn on. When David reached the workshop, it was 15 minutes left for the workshop to close for the day. The mechanic advised him to come back tomorrow, as it required 45 mins to diagnose the engine.

Since David drive all the way from home to the workshop, he's going to try his luck with other workshop and see whether other mechanics can help him out. To his surprise, the next mechanics he approached told him there was just a minor problem, and he could get it fixed in 15 mins. After 15 mins, David happily got his car fixed and the "Engine LED" is no longer turn on.

However, what David didn't know is that, instead of diagnose the real cause of the engine alarming signal (the light), the "smart" mechanic just cut off the power supply to the "Engine LED". The following few weeks, David was so curious that his car start having problem here and there... and finally after 3 months, the whole engine broke down.

In the medical practise in our community, most of the doctor will be practising "smart" method to provide us fast and easy solutions to our problem in this Instant Age. When we have headache, we'll be providing the Panadol to kill the pain (alarm signal). Without studying the real cause, or perhaps most doctor might not realize too since the education they have proposed "smart" method too...

Sooner or later, we wondering why most of us start getting all kinds of cancers, and it become a norm and everyone just seems to think that's normal for most of us have cancer when we reach certain age...
