Lost ? Value Life ? Hope? Reborn...

It's quite a while since my last blog. My emotion is kind of up and down with the series I'm watching "Healing Hands III" and also the US stock market up and down of the position I'm in. Perhaps it's will be wise to get out of the position since "High emotion, Low intelligence"......

In "Healing Hands III", it provides some great insights about life. It shows us what's most important when other really doesn't matter anymore when the one we love are in the Emergency Room fighting to be "Reborn". Then, we started to wonder why something only can be noticed when it has gone, and we didn't realise it's there all the time.

I like what's Henry said when he was asked why he wanted to be Doctor. He answered, "To give hope, to give second chance for those to be reborn, and hopefully the patients and help themselves to start over again."

He also mentioned that "I can help them to cure their body, but not their soul. They have to learn from the experience and help themselves to climb up again."

Our greatest Glory is not in never failing, but in rising up everytime we fail" - Ralph Emerson.

  • If you have a patient diagnosed with Cancer and you know you could prolong his life for few years but must undergo some serious theraphy that will caused a lot of side effects (hair loss, vomit, couldn't get up from the bed). Would you let him do the surgery to prolong his life (that might bring a few years of suffer) or let him live like normal for a short time?

  • Frankly, I let the patient to choose for himself. As we don't have to right to choose for them. However, there is a way to cure cancel in a healthy way if it is diagnosed at early or mid stage. I remember there is one saying that "we cannot determine to length of our life, but we can decide the width of our life. " ;)
